The SHPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two persons suspected of involvement in a “quick-change” scam at Wal-Mart.
On Oct. 12, the person pictured riding the electric scooter attempted to confuse a cashier in an attempt to get the cashier to return more money than owed. As an employee approached the person, a second person who was standing in line began to ask the employee questions. The person riding the scooter exited the store while this occurred. The second person eventually met the person riding the scooter and the two left the store together.
