SHPD Requesting Donations for the Davis House Child Advocacy Center

The SHPD is collecting items for the Davis House Child Advocacy Center in Franklin. The mission of Davis House Child Advocacy Center is to combat child abuse by coordinating services to children and their families in crisis and providing community education focused on prevention and early intervention. We accomplish this by providing investigative and healing services in response to allegations of sexual and severe physical abuse in our four-county service area of Williamson, Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties, as well as training adults in the community on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child abuse.

The Davis House is in need of the following supplies: pens, sticky notes, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, puzzles, new stuffed animals, and juice boxes.

If you wish to donate, please bring these items to the lower level (left side) of Spring Hill City Hall, 199 Town Center Parkway, to the Police Department. If you can bring them between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, our records clerk can take them. If the records clerk is not there, please use the call-box to request another employee. If you are unable to drop off during normal business hours, please drop off your donation in the lobby. All donations will be accepted until April 3. Thank you for your help in assisting the Davis House.
