As the #COVID19 global pandemic continues, so does the nation’s opioid epidemic. The American Medical Association (AMA) has issued a brief showing 40 U.S. states reported increases in opioid-related mortality. This comes in addition to ongoing concerns for those with a mental illness or substance use disorder.
To help crush the crisis, TriStar Spring Hill ER is partnering with Spring Hill Police Department to support Drug Enforcement Administration – DEA ’s national take back day by collecting unused and expired prescription medication.
