Police Investigate Alleged Shoplifting Incident at Target

Spring Hill, TN – An unidentified female allegedly entered Target on Feb. 6th and concealed merchandise valued at approximately $365 after removing the items from their packaging and placing them in a bag.

The suspect remained inside the store for about 2 hours and 51 minutes before allegedly exiting without paying for the concealed merchandise, purchasing only a pack of Post-it Notes at checkout. Police Investigate Attempted Jewelry Case Break-In at Walmart

Spring Hill, TN – Officers responded to Walmart on Feb. 27, 2026, after a subject attempted to pry open a jewelry display case, causing about $484 in damage.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect trying to open the case, briefly walking away when approached by an employee, then returning before leaving the store without taking any items.

SHPD Detectives Investigate Theft of Laptops From Walmart

Spring Hill, TN – Detectives are working to identify the above person who allegedly stole two laptops after presenting employees with a work order later determined to be counterfeit. Investigation Into Attempted Theft From Credit Union ATM

Spring Hill, TN – SHPD detectives are working to identify the individuals who attempted to steal money from a credit union ATM on Kedron Rd. On February 13th at 11 pm the person in the above image attempted to gain access to the ATM at Listerhill Credit Union. This person was unsuccessful in getting any money, most likely because of an audible alarm. (UPDATED) Shots Fired In Wades Grove Subdivision

Update (August 12th): Detectives have obtained video from a home in Wades Grove where gunshots are audible around the same time a white sedan passes in front of a camera view. A second sedan also leaves the area a short time after the gunshots are heard. A second video shows a person walking between two houses in the subdivision but turning quickly and running toward the street. Spring Hill, TN – On August 7th at 10 PM, officers were dispatched to the Wades Grove subdivision off Buckner Lane to the area of Lequire Lane and Keene Circle to a call of someone hearing multiple gunshots. Officers arrived on the scene and located several empty handgun shell casings on the street in the 2000 block of Keene Circle. Officers spoke to several people in the area to determine if the gunfire hit anyone or structure. No damage or persons injured were located at the time of the report.
