7/22/2018-  At 6:15 PM officers were dispatched to the area of Twice Dailys on Port Royal Rd. to look for a black Nissan Altima that the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office had been pursuing on I-65.  An officer spoke to a witness who saw two subjects exit a vehicle matching that description in The Reserves at Port Royal neighborhood.  Officers located two subjects at the pool house on Countess Lane that matched the description of the ones that exited the vehicle.  Those subjects were detained for investigative purposes.  Officers also located the Altima on an adjacent street in The Reserves.  The vehicle had driven through two different yards.

While the SHPD and WCSO were on-scene conducting their investigations, the Spring Hill Emergency Communications Department received a phone call from Joshua Draine. Draine was standing on Countless LN and alleged that the Altima involved in the pursuit was his and that it was stolen.  Further investigation revealed that Draine was actually the driver of the vehicle and the other two subjects were passengers.  Draine, 18 years old of Memphis, was arrested for filing a false report and was lodged at the Maury County Jail.  The other two subjects were released to the WCSO.

Draine is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
