Spring Hill, TN – On December 31, 2021, the Spring Hill Police Department (SHPD), Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), Maury County Sheriff’s Office, and Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be working to ensure everyone has a safe New Years. Our primary goal will be to ensure that everyone traveling through Spring Hill arrives at their destination safely so they can enjoy the holiday with their friends and family. The SHPD and their law enforcement partners will be saturating high traffic areas within the city looking for impaired drivers. In addition, several bar checks will be conducted to ensure bars are not over-serving patrons. We strongly encourage everyone to make the right choice DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE. Every year more than 10,000 people die in alcohol related crashes. That’s one every fifty-one minutes. Citizens are encouraged to contact 911 and or *THP to report any impaired drivers.
